About the role
As Research Assistant (early career), you will support research projects focused on Indigenous employment, training and workforce development.
You will gain experience across the research lifecycle, including:
- Supporting literature reviews, desktop research and evidence gathering.
- Assisting with surveys, interviews and stakeholder consultations.
- Organising and analysing research information.
- Preparing reports, presentations and research insights.
- Supporting research projects and coordination activities.
This role provides a strong foundation for someone wanting to build a career in applied research.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is curious, motivated and ready to grow a career in research. You will bring:
- A qualification (or be nearing completion) in social sciences, public policy, business, education, health or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative and work collaboratively.
- A genuine interest in research, evidence and creating positive change.
- Experience in research, policy, evaluation or project work is desirable but not essential.
