Position Summary:

MYMC are looking for a social-native Social Content Producer who understands internet culture and can turn trends and brand moments into engaging social-first content. This role is about making MYMC part of culture, not just the feed. You’ll be a hands-on creator and trend hunter, spotting moments, filming on the fly, and quickly turning ideas into content with the Head of Social, Content &

Community.

You’ll shoot, edit and publish across TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms, bringing humour, personality and cultural relevance to everything you make. If you’re always saving trends early, creating content everywhere you go, and instinctively know what works on TikTok, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities but not limited too:

Social First Content Creation

  • Ideate social-first content concepts that align cultural trends with product launches and key brand priorities.
  • Create high-volume, social-native video content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels and other emerging channels.
  • Shoot and edit content primarily on mobile (iPhone-first) with speed and authenticity.
  • Produce culturally relevant formats such as: Vox pops, Taste tests, Street interviews, Day-in-the-life content, Trend-driven edits & Creator-style storytelling

Trend Spotting & Cultural Relevance

  • Stay deeply embedded in internet culture, memes, creators and trends.
  • Identify opportunities for MYMC to participate in cultural moments in a way that feels authentic and entertaining.
  • Bring a constant flow of fresh ideas, formats and experiments to the content calendar.

Production & Editing

  • Edit engaging short-form video content using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut or similar mobile editing tools.
  • Ensure content feels native to each platform and aligns with social best practices.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to scale successful formats.

Collaboration & Experimentation

  • Work closely with the Head of Social, Content & Community, Influencer lead and wider marketing team to bring campaigns and brand moments to life on social.
  • Collaborate with influencers, ambassadors and creators during shoots.
  • Test, learn and iterate based on performance, engagement and social listening insights.

Skills & Experience: 

  • 4-5+ years experience creating social content in-house, at a brand, or within a social/creative agency.
  • Proven ability to create high-performing short-form video content.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram and social video trends.
  • Strong shooting and editing skills, particularly mobile-first creation with the ability to share examples of your work.
  • A great creative eye for what works on social pacing, humour, hooks and storytelling.
  • Comfortable filming in public and interacting with people (vox pops, interviews etc).
  • Passion for food, fitness, lifestyle or culture is a must.
