About the role:
We’re seeking a Motion Designer to lead motion and animation work across MYMC’s social, digital, and campaign channels.
The role focuses on creating high-quality motion assets that enhance the brand’s presence across content, eCommerce, and digital experiences.
Working with the Experience Design and Creative Lead, the designer will bring MYMC’s visual identity to life while ensuring content is modern, engaging, and effective in fast-paced digital environments.
Key Responsibilities but not limited too:
Motion Design & Animation:
- Develop engaging motion-first creative for paid social, organic social, eCommerce and digital
marketing.
- Bring campaigns, product launches and brand moments to life through motion design and animation.
- Ensure all motion outputs are correctly exported and optimised to platform and ad spec requirements (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Brand Visual Identity:
- Work closely with the Experience Design and Creative Lead to evolve and implement MYMC’s visual identity through motion and animation.
- Help establish motion design principles and systems that support the broader brand identity.
- Explore new ways to express the MYMC brand through movement, transitions and dynamic storytelling.
Content & Campaign Support:
- Support the content and marketing teams with motion assets for BAU activity and campaign
moments.
- Collaborate with the Head of Social, Content & Community to develop platform-native content.
- Support UGC and creator content workflows – templating, editing and adapting creator-supplied footage for paid and organic social.
Collaboration & Creative Operations:
- Partner with designers, content creators and external production partners where required.
- Contribute to creative brainstorming and campaign ideation sessions.
- Manage asset delivery timelines and ensure outputs are delivered on schedule.
Skills & Experience:
- 3–5+ years experience in motion design, animation or video design roles.
- Strong portfolio showcasing motion design across digital and social channels.
- Advanced skills in After Effects, Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite, including colour grading and basic audio sync.
- Experience using Lottie Files for lightweight web and app animation delivery.
- Strong understanding of motion for social-first and performance marketing environments.
- Solid knowledge of ad platform specs and export requirements across Meta, TikTok and YouTube.
- Experience editing or templating UGC and creator-supplied footage for paid social.
