Digital Marketing Manager – Mushroom Music

About the Role:
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead digital ad strategy and campaign execution across Mushroom’s label roster – creating innovative, data-driven marketing that grows audiences, builds artist brands, and drives fan engagement and streaming. You’ll work across a diverse mix of artists including; Vance Joy, Tobiahs, Confidence Man, Childish Gambino, Idles, The Temper Trap, Mia Wray, The Teskey Brothers and Kylie Minogue.
This role blends creativity and analytics, and is perfect for someone who can move quickly, spot opportunities in real time, and craft digital moments that genuinely connect with fans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute innovative digital marketing campaigns for artist releases, working with campaign leads to ensure strong creative assets and clear audience objectives.
- Manage all paid campaigns across TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Spotify and other digital platforms.
- Identify fast-moving opportunities (viral moments, spikes, trends) and activate rapid-fire digital campaigns to drive audience engagement and streaming.
- Work with campaign leads to leverage first-party data to maximise direct to fan opportunities via the likes of CRM, email, SMS and other digital D2C avenues.
- Set KPIs, track performance and analyse data across streaming, social and paid channels, using insights to optimise campaigns and enhance MROI.
- Work with campaign leads on influencer and creator marketing initiatives, from coordinating outreach to negotiating deliverables and measuring outcomes.
- Manage external partners, including influencers, digital agencies, platform reps (Incl. TikTok, Meta).
- Stay across platform changes, emerging digital tools, creator trends and AI-driven marketing opportunities, applying new innovations to enhance campaigns and develop new best-practice marketing approaches.
- Provide regular reporting on active campaigns, highlighting performance, its conversion to streaming and opportunities for optimisation.
- Manage ongoing digital marketing budgets, ensuring spends are aligned with campaign goals.
About You:
- 3+ years digital marketing experience in music, entertainment or a related creative industry.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, creator ecosystems and short-form content culture.
- Confident managing paid media and influencer/UGC campaigns.
- Data-driven, with the ability to interpret results and use insights to optimise campaigns.
- Experience in interpreting streaming data.
- Comfortable working at pace, responding to trends and spotting real-time opportunities.
- Passionate about music, culture and helping artists grow their audiences.
