Motorway Maintenance & Litter Crew Member – Night Shift

About the role

We are currently seeking a Crew Member to be part of the Muru Mittigar’s Litter Collection Team where you will be responsible for the collection of litter along a motorway, ideally starting immediately.

The work is primarily undertaken at night between 7:30pm – 4:00am Monday – Friday. On occasion the works will be undertaken during day time between hours 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

We have a strong brand in the local community and work primarily on Land Management Projects. All profits are reinvested into the organisation to assist in the delivery of Muru Mittigar’s purpose.

Skills and experience

The following attributes are essential;

• General construction induction card (white card)
• Working with children’s check (or willingness to obtain)
• Class C Drivers License and own transport.
• A willingness and ability to listen and follow instructions.
• Applicant would need to be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved
• A willingness to undertake a medical assessment
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently

The hourly rate including Casual and Working Outside Ordinary hours allowance is as follows

Day Shift – $31.25 + Superannuation / Hr

Night Shift – $37.50 + Superannuation / Hr
