We are looking for an experienced and motivated Landscape Team Leader to join our team in Western Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong horticultural knowledge and proven leadership experience who enjoys working outdoors, leading from the front, and delivering quality outcomes across a variety of sites. You will play a key role in supervising day-to-day works, supporting your team, and ensuring sites are maintained to a high standard.

About the role

As a Landscape Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team in the delivery of horticultural and grounds maintenance services across Western Sydney. You will help coordinate daily tasks, maintain safe and efficient work practices, and ensure all works are completed to a professional standard.

This role requires a balance of practical horticultural skill, team supervision, and the ability to keep jobs running smoothly on site.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise team members across horticultural and landscape maintenance works
  • Coordinate daily site activities and allocate tasks effectively
  • Carry out hands-on horticultural duties including planting, pruning, mulching, hedging, mowing, edging, and weed control
  • Monitor site quality and ensure presentation standards are maintained
  • Support, guide, and mentor team members in the field
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard
  • Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment safely
  • Communicate professionally with supervisors, clients, and internal stakeholders as required
  • Training and supporting team members to develop their skills

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in landscape maintenance, construction or horticulture
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Certificate III in Parks and Gardens
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Strong practical horticultural knowledge and experience
  • Proven ability to lead teams and maintain high work standards
  • Good communication skills and a dependable, proactive approach
  • A strong commitment to safe work practices
  • White Card
  • Working with Children Check
  • AQF3 Chemical Accreditation
