  • the ability to work well in a team
  • a good level of fitness for outdoor physical work
  • willingness to attend TAFE one day per week
  • willingness to obtain a Construction Induction Card, also known as a White Card
  • willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check if required

Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, labouring, or outdoor work is helpful but not essential. The right attitude and commitment are most important.

  • Paid on-the-job training
  • TAFE study toward a nationally recognised qualification
  • Support from experienced supervisors and mentors
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career in landscaping and open space maintenance
