Description

Sales Operations Coordinator (Mining & Minerals Processing) – Brisbane Southern Suburbs (Hybrid Roster)

Join the Multotec crew – where mineral processing tech meets real human connection in a fast-moving mining world.

We’re hunting for a confident, outgoing all-rounder to keep our Brisbane head office and East Coast branches humming. You’ll be the vital link between our remote sales legends, product specialists, planning wizards, and — most importantly — our customers. If you thrive on turning chaos into clean orders, chatting easily with everyone from site managers to internal teams, and spotting details others miss, this could be your perfect fit. No mining background? No drama — enthusiasm and systems smarts count for more.

What you’ll actually do (the good, the detailed, and the occasional filing):

  • Provide rock-solid admin support to customer orders, sales, and product management teams.
  • Respond to general branch and sales queries (phone/email) from internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Handle end-to-end processing of sales and project orders: from kick-off to invoicing for products and service jobs.
  • Keep customers in the loop with clear order status reports.
  • Raise purchase orders for stock resupply and consumables like a pro.
  • Keep an eye on stock levels and make sure things flow smoothly.
  • Nail accurate data entry into our business systems (JDE experience? Instant gold star).
  • Handle scanning, filing, general office admin, and pitch in wherever needed.
  • Stay actively involved in our quality, safety, and environmental standards — because we actually mean it.

About You (we’re not asking for a unicorn, just a driven team player):

  • Naturally confident communicator who shines in a team setting and builds relationships easily.
  • Proven admin experience + strong computer skills (O365 and ideally ERP systems like JD Edwards for sales orders, stock, and POs).
  • Strong attention to detail — because one wrong digit can ruin a mining site’s day.
  • Exposure to mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry products is a bonus, but personality and drive trump all.
  • You’re motivated to prove yourself and genuinely enjoy engaging with customers and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with managing customer order status reporting and stock level monitoring.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Hybrid roster-based work from home and office days.
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and genuinely friendly small-team environment in our Brisbane southern suburbs HQ.
  • Employee benefits scheme, training opportunities, and the backing of a profitable international group.
  • The chance to work with cutting-edge mineral processing tech that actually makes mining more efficient globally.
