Description

Summary:

We are seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all service reports are stored appropriately
  • Conduct Cleaning fortnightly audits with Client
  • Monitor the activity in each work area and allocate staff accordingly to ensure a high level of service to meet the varying demands and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure all Client Contractor Supervisor documentation (including SWMS) is completed before works commence.
  • Run weekly Client meetings
  • Provide assistant to create quotes for ah-hoc repairs (based on service reports and Client requests)
  • Managing effective communication, negotiation and conflict resolution with subcontractors, clients, and onsite staff.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement to Management on matters such as rostering, systems, procedures etc.
  • Ensure a safe work environment for all staff.
  • Comply with all internal policies and procedures as well as all Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environment management systems.
  • Complete all required incident reporting in case of accidents, incidents, and public liability incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Facility Management experience in school sector
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of HSEQM, systems of work.
  • Reliable, dedicated, and passionate in promoting a positive work culture.
  • An ability to lead, motivate, and influence your staff members to deliver excellent results.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
