Description

We are seeking a highly experienced senior finance professional to join our executive leadership team and play a critical role in shaping the organisational, financial and people capability of a purpose‑driven organisation.

This role provides strategic and operational leadership across Finance, Commercial, Assets and Digital Systems, ensuring strong governance, financial accountability and high‑quality internal services that enable excellent outcomes for the communities we support.

About You

You are a trusted senior finance leader with the ability to balance commercial rigour with purpose‑driven decision‑making. You bring:

  • Extensive experience operating at senior or executive level in finance‑led role
  • A strong understanding of governance, risk, and complex operating environments
  • The confidence to influence at executive and board level
  • A genuine commitment to people‑centred leadership and organisational values

Key Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to

Finance & Corporate Governance

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit and compliance
  • Oversee payroll, taxation, insurance, investments and financial risk management
  • Provide high‑level financial analysis and advice to the CEO and Board
  • Ensure strong internal controls, policies and governance frameworks

Assets, Systems & Operations

  • Oversee asset management including property, vehicles and corporate infrastructure
  • Lead digital systems, technology and business systems governance
  • Ensure corporate services effectively support frontline service delivery

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and develop high‑performing, multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to strategic and business planning at an enterprise level
  • Identify and respond to emerging risks, opportunities and sector trends
  • Model values‑based, courageous and collaborative leadership

To be successful in this role, you will have

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
  • CPA, CA or equivalent senior professional qualification
  • Minimum 7–10 years’ relevant senior experience

Highly Regarded

  • Postgraduate qualifications in leadership or management
  • Experience in the disability, community, health or human services sector

Pre-employment compliance requirements

  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
