Description

We are looking for a Library Casual to support the TJ Malyon Library project, based at our Brisbane campus. No library experience is required—just a practical, organised approach, and a willingness to help when needed.

About the Role:

  • Support the operation of the TJ Malyon Library in collaboration with the library team through customer service, administration and projects.
  • Undertake a range of library project tasks, including relocating collections, scanning items for catalogue updates, maintaining project records, shelving materials, and supporting other project activities as required.
  • Maintain a tidy, well-presented library and collection while ensuring a positive and engaging user experience.
  • This is a casual role, with the possibility of up to 2.5 days/week, as needed from July to December 2026. Availability on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the semester is preferred.
  • Remuneration: $33.71 per hour (Inclusive of casual loading), in accordance with the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020.

  • Willingness to embrace a culture of shared evangelical conviction and gracious, respectful disagreement on other matters.
