The opportunity
The part-time (4 days per week) Talent Specialist is responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment activities. The role leverages data and market insights to inform sourcing strategies, maintain strong talent pipelines and drive continuous improvement in hiring outcomes. Operating within agreed service level agreement (SLAs), the Talent Specialist ensures an efficient, compliant and positive recruitment experience for candidates and stakeholders, while strengthening our brand.
Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, the Talent Specialist would be responsible for:
Partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop effective, data-informed sourcing strategies
- Sourcing and attract candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, referrals and industry networks
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring delivery within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and a high-quality candidate experience
- Providing timely and proactive communication to candidates and stakeholders, aligned to SLAs and recruitment standards
- Maintaining and update the applicant tracking system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and real-time visibility of recruitment activity
- Conducting pre-employment checks, including reference and background checks, and prepare employment contracts in line with compliance requirements
- Building and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles, leveraging market insights and workforce data
- Tracking, analysing and reporting on recruitment metrics and key performance indicators (e.g. time-to-fill, quality of hire), identifying trends and driving continuous improvement
- Promoting and strengthen More’s brand through candidate engagement and participation in industry events
- Identifying and mitigate recruitment risks, ensuring processes align with employment legislation, internal policies and audit requirements
Experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (agency or in-house)
- Experience supporting or managing end-to-end recruitment processes
- Exposure to using a applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment platforms
- Experience working with hiring managers and stakeholders at various levels of seniority
- Familiarity with recruitment metrics and delivering against SLAs
- Previous work with Employment Hero is a bonus!
