The opportunity

The part-time (3 days per week) People Operations Administrator provides efficient and accurate administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring all People & Culture (P&C) processes are delivered in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs). The role maintains data integrity across the people systems, supports onboarding, delivery of documentation and coordination of people related activities. Through a strong focus on responsiveness, accuracy and compliance the role enables a consistent employee experience and support the broader P&C team operate effectively.

Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, the People Operations Administrator would be responsible for: 

  • Collaborating with the P&C team to deliver efficient and consistent administrative support 
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and filing systems 
  • Managing the P&C inbox and calendar, triaging, responding or escalating queries within agreed SLAs  
  • Preparing and distribute employment lifecycle documentation, including contracts, letters, employee variations and offboarding documentation via the HRIS 
  • Supporting onboarding activities, including employee setup and induction scheduling 
  • Monitoring and administer probationary periods 
  • Updating and maintain P&C platforms, intranet and shared drives with current and accurate information 
  • Providing administrative support for P&C projects and cyclical activities 
  • Coordinating agreed P&C initiatives and events (e.g. wellbeing programs, volunteer days) 
  • Supporting payroll processes by ensuring accurate and timely employee data updates 
  • Providing administrative support for Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) activities, including maintaining records, coordinating documentation and supporting reporting requirements.

Experience 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline (or currently studying) 
  • Previous administrative experience 
  • Exposure to HR Systems (HRIS) – Employment Hero is a bonus!
  • Proficient IT Skills
