We are not hiring for a general support worker position. We require workers who have hands-on, demonstrated HIPDA (High Intensity Daily Activity) experience with at least 3 of the clinical tasks listed below. We are looking for professionals ready to step in from day one.

We have two positions available for workers based in Sydney South-West (Hurstville, Wattle Grove and Roselands) as well as Upper North Sydney (Turramurra, Forestville and West Pennant Hills).

Able to perform the following duties:

  • Complex bowel care (including enemas/suppositories if delegated)
  • Urinary catheter care (IDC/SPC – care only, not insertion)
  • PEG/PEJ feeding support (administer feeds, flushes, hygiene)
  • Suctioning (oral/nasal)
  • Tracheostomy awareness (care/observation, not tube changes)
  • Pressure care/skin integrity monitoring
  • Epilepsy/seizure response
  • Respiratory support awareness
  • Medication assistance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Complex Support Worker with experience to join a stable, coordinated care team supporting long-term NDIS participants with high physical care needs. Our clients are living at home who require daily clinical-level personal care including PEG feeding, catheter care, complex bowel management, and seizure response. You will work as part of a consistent team with structured rosters, in a well-managed and supportive environment.

What we require

  • NSW Driver’s Licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, Police Check, First Aid & CPR
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability / Ageing / Home & Community) or equivalent
  • Demonstrated 2+ years’ experience in high-intensity / complex care disability supports (in-home, SIL, hospital discharge or similar)
  • Manual Handling and Behaviour Support training highly regarded
