Montessori Care is a registered NDIS provider supporting people with disabilities and older Australians to live with greater independence. We are looking for a dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our team and provide consistent, high quality support to a young client with complex developmental and medical needs in the Eastern Suburbs.

About the Role

You will work directly with a 4 year old client across two day care settings in Little Bay and La Perouse, implementing therapy programs under the guidance of her treating speech pathologist, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist. This is a long term, relationship based role that requires consistency, warmth, and genuine commitment to the client’s goals.

Shift schedule is as follows:

  • Wednesday and Friday 9am to 3pm at La Perouse.
  • Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday shifts are based at a separate venue in Little Bay and are subject to venue approval as part of the onboarding process.

Successful candidates will be supported through this process.

What You Will Do

  • Implement speech, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy programs under clinician supervision
  • Support communication, play, mobility, and community access goals
  • Work collaboratively with the client’s therapy team and family
  • Maintain accurate and timely progress notes

About You

  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, Disability, or a related field
  • Experience supporting children with disability, developmental delay, autism, or complex needs is highly regarded
  • Experience in early intervention, special education, or allied health settings is an advantage
  • Full Australian Driver’s Licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Reliable, consistent, and committed to building a long term relationship with the client and family

Pay and Conditions

Starting from $35.04 per hour (casual) in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award MA000027, Level 2. Higher rates apply for candidates with relevant qualifications and experience.
