About Us

Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients, including bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, mobile crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield, a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop, and a Queensland operations office, we support major sites across NSW and QLD.

We are currently expanding our maintenance team with experienced Plant Mechanics. This is an opportunity to work as part of a team working on in-house Mineco owned and operated large scale civil and mining equipment.

About the Role

  • Perform the overhaul, rebuild and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT Trucks, Dozers & Loaders, Hitachi excavators and other ancillary equipment including Crushers and Screens
  • Exclusively workshop-based position in Muswellbrook
  • General maintenance, major component rebuilds, strip downs, inspections and reassembly of heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Conduct detailed inspections and fault finding to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry
  • Strong experience in workshop rebuilds, component overhauls, strip and assess, and reassembly of heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Demonstrated experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and Cat large earthmoving equipment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
