Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients, including bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, mobile crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield, a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop, and a Queensland operations office, we support major sites across NSW and QLD.

We are currently looking to onboard a stand-alone Boilermaker to join our maintenance team. This is an opportunity to take full heavy welding ownership working on in-house Mineco owned and operated large scale civil and mining equipment.

About the Role

• Operate as our stand-alone Boilermaker. Taking full ownership to plan and complete works independently from start to finish
• Conduct high quality site based and workshop heavy welding work on Mineco owned large-scale mobile mining equipment
• This equipment includes CAT Trucks Dozers & Loaders, Hitachi Excavators & other ancillary equipment including Crushers and Screens
• Be the driving force behind building Mineco’s brand-new in-house Stemming Truck fleet from the ground up
• Collaborate with our maintenance team leads to prioritise and optimise efficiencies across our breakdowns and repairs

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication OR Boilermaker Trade
• Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry
