ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be the go-to technical expert for our clients, working on-site to keep their equipment running smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with printers, copiers, scanners, and multifunction devices for our clients.

Client Support: Provide friendly, efficient technical support via phone, email, on-site visits, and remote tools.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, calibration, software updates) to ensure devices operate at peak performance.

Installations: Run-up, deliver, and install printers, multifunction devices, and related software at client locations.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with MicrotechDPS products and technologies, continuously expanding your technical knowledge.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow technicians and support teams to provide excellent service and solutions.
This field service role can be based out of our Wagga or Leeton office focused on supporting customers across the local region.
ABOUT YOU
You are a customer-focused professional who loves solving technical problems. To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Previous experience in a similar Field Service or technical support role IT or Print
- A valid Class C driver’s license and willingness to undertake regular travel and work in different locations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and a proactive attitude.
- The ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and perform tasks that may require bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- An understanding of print device connectivity and basic IT issues. Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in electronics/computer systems are a plus (but not essential).
As part of the recruitment process, pre-employment checks including a functional assessment will be conducted in line with physical requirements of the position as well as a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (Victoria and NSW).
