At Microflite, we operate a diverse fleet of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, delivering premium aviation services and supporting critical operations across Australia.
As an Operations Controller, you’ll be at the center of it all — based in our fast paced Integrated Operations Centre, the heartbeat of our business. This is a dynamic and highly important role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running seamlessly, ensuring
aircraft, crew, and equipment are deployed safely, efficiently, and exactly where they need to be.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment. This includes participation in a 4 on / 4 off rotating roster with overnight shifts as part of your regular schedule.

You’ll work within the Operations Centre team supported by a leadership team that values
initiative and teamwork. Our people, from the CEO to the hangar floor – roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversight and management of day-to-day operations, including tracking of all company flights and support equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and on-time performance.
- Proactively respond to operational disruptions, implementing solutions within tight timeframes.
- Provide operational support to crew, including landing requests, aircraft parking, fuel uploads, and crew accommodation and transport arrangements.
- Liaise with pilots regarding weather impacts and communicate updates to relevant teams.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports and records.
- Maintain the Operations Centre control system and ensure accurate tracking of on-time performance.
- Support compliance by ensuring all documentation, reports, and operational records are accurate and up to date.
What You’ll Bring:

- Experience in aviation operations or a similar high-tempo environment is highly desirable.

- High computer literacy and systems proficiency.
- Please Note: Australian citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role due to security clearance obligations.
