Microflite Aviation is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Centre Manager to lead the performance, capability and continuous improvement of our Operations Centre.

 

Reporting to the Flight Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Operations Controllers and Administration support staff, ensuring the Operations Centre delivers safe, efficient and responsive operational support across the business. You will be responsible for team performance, process improvement, operational governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement, ensuring the Operations Centre effectively supports the operational requirements of Microflite Aviation.

What You’ll Do:

 

Lead and develop the Operations Controller and Operations Administration teams, ensuring consistent operational standards, workforce capability and service delivery.

 

As Operations Centre Manager, you will:

 

  • Lead, coach and develop the Operations Centre team to maintain a high performing and customer focused culture.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and workforce development activities.
  • Oversee rostering, workforce planning and resource allocation to ensure operational readiness and service delivery.
  • Monitor team performance, utilisation, workload and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure the Operations Centre delivers effective flight following oversight, operational coordination, scheduling support and communication across the business.
  • Maintain operational standards and ensure activities are conducted in accordance with company procedures, approved frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor operational reporting, compliance records, key performance indicators and performance trends.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency and service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders and support effective collaboration across the organisation.
  • Provide leadership and governance to ensure the Operations Centre effectively supports the operational requirements of Microflite Aviation.

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing operational teams.
  • Experience within aviation operations, operational control, logistics, emergency services or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded.
  • Strong workforce planning, rostering and resource management capability.
  • Proven ability to coordinate competing priorities, manage operational disruptions and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capability.
  • Experience driving operational performance, process improvement and procedural compliance.
  • High level organisational, reporting and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency with operational management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
