The Opportunity
We are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our team, supporting our Queensland operations while contributing to the national HR function.
You will play a key role in delivering practical, on-the-ground HR support, while coordinating core people processes across recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, and culture.
Working closely with the HR Manager, Talent Acquisition Specialist and QLD leadership team, you’ll help ensure our people are supported, engaged and set up for success at every stage of the employee lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for supporting and coordinating key HR functions across the business, including:
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and practical support to employees and leaders
- Supporting onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle processes
- Assisting with recruitment and early careers programs including cadets and internships
- Coordinating training initiatives and supporting learning and development programs
- Supporting performance review processes including Touchpoints and remuneration cycles
- Maintaining HR systems and ensuring data accuracy (e.g. Employment Hero)
- Monitoring workforce engagement and proactively identifying potential retention risks
- Supporting the delivery of HR initiatives, engagement activities and cultural programs
- Assisting with HR reporting, administration and process improvement
What You’ll Bring
You are an organised and people-focused HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being close to the action. You’ll also bring:
- Experience in an HR coordination, administration or junior advisory role
- Exposure to recruitment and/or talent acquisition processes
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confidence working with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
- A solid understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in people, culture and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
