The Opportunity
We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our team.
You will play a key role in supporting project delivery, managing contracts and variations, and maintaining strong commercial control across projects.
Working closely with the Project Manager, site teams and key stakeholders, you’ll help manage subcontractors, administer contracts, maintain cash-positive projects and support smooth project delivery from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for managing key contract and commercial functions throughout the project lifecycle across commercial construction projects, including:
- Preparing and maintaining procurement programs and purchasing schedules
- Administering head and subcontractor agreements, including payment claims and variations
- Managing project cash flow and ensuring the project remains financially sound
- Monitoring and reporting on project costs, risks and opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Attending site meetings and managing documentation such as drawings and revisions
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive performance and outcomes
What You’ll Bring
You are a detail-oriented construction professional with a solid understanding of how projects operate both on site and commercially. You’ll also bring:
- 3+ years’ experience delivering commercial construction projects in a contract administration role
- A background working for a head contractor in Australia
- Sound understanding of head contracts, subcontractor agreements and cost control processes
- Experience using contract administration software, with Jobpac experience highly regarded
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and risk management
