Part Time Reservations Agent

With 517 newly refurbished rooms, 12 conference rooms, and multiple food and beverage outlets, Mercure Sydney is on the lookout for a Reservations Manager. We are and will continue to be, ANYTHING BUT NORMAL.

Job Description:
- Input and process all reservations via our hotel PMS (opera cloud) and using Accor’s RESAweb
- Responding to guest calls ensuring an outstanding guest experience
- Have fun in selling our rooms, with a positive approach to maximize yield in both occupancy and rates
- Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service
- Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests
Qualifications:
- A sound knowledge & application of the Opera system or similar Reservations system – highly desirable
- A genuine interest to listen to others stories and look for opportunities to make them feel special
- A high level of attention to detail and exceptional organisational & time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English and high proficiency across all communication modes
- Flexible availability, including Saturdays (on rotational basis)
