About the role
We are seeking a Graduate/ Early Career Lawyer (0-2 years PAE) to join our Barossa office on a full-time basis.
This is a unique opportunity to build your career in a true generalist practice, working across a diverse range of matters and developing strong client relationships. You will work closely with experienced practitioners locally, with additional support from our Adelaide office, while developing the confidence to manage your own files over time.
Our Barossa practice services a diverse client base across the region and offers exposure to areas including:
- Commercial and business matters;
- Wills, estates and succession planning; and
- Family law.
In this role you will:
- Assist with and progressively manage a range of legal matters
- Draft legal documents and correspondence
- Prepare briefs and undertake general file administration
- Conduct legal research
- Attend court and client meetings
- Liaise professionally with clients and other stakeholders
- Support file management, including opening and closing matters.
About you
As an early career lawyer you are looking for more than a narrow, specialised role. You are motivated by variety, value meaningful client interaction, and are keen to build confidence across a broad range of legal matters.
You enjoy taking initiative, are open to learning across different practice areas, and are comfortable stepping into responsibility as your experience grows.
You will bring:
- Up to two years’ post-admission experience or be recently admitted.
- An interest in general practice and working across areas such as property, family law and estates.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the confidence to engage with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in being part of a regional team.
