About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Assistant to join our Commercial and Property teams. We are seeking someone who enjoys working collaboratively, building strong relationships and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Working across both teams, you play an important role in the day-to-day management of matters,
building strong relationships with clients and colleagues while contributing to the delivery of the high-quality service for which Mellor Olsson is known.
Working across both the Commercial and Property teams, you will undertake a range of
activities including:
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
- Providing broad administrative support such as diary management and e-filing
- Assisting with the incorporation of companies
- Maintaining electronic files, document control and matter administration
- Communicating with and supporting clients
- Assisting with billing processes and file management activities
- Entering and managing conveyancing transactions in PEXA.
About you
You are a capable legal support professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and brings empathy and professionalism to client interactions. To be considered, you will
have:
- Previous legal administration experience is highly regarded
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and pride in accurate document production
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive, “can-do” approach and confidence to take initiative
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Previous experience with a legal practice
management system (such as Affinity) and PEXA is advantageous.
