This role begins at 4:00am, so you’ll need to be a morning person. The upside? You’ll finish around midday, leaving plenty of time to enjoy your afternoons.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the friendly face of the Melbourne Market, you’ll help create a great experience for our traders, customers, visitors and stakeholders every day. You’ll:
- Welcome visitors and market users with a smile
- Answer customer enquiries in person, by phone and email
- Process access cards and new business registrations
- Help new businesses get set up and feel at home in the Market
- Run site inductions and guided tours
- Assist with payments, receipts and basic reporting
- Keep records and Salesforce up to date
- Manage parking allocations and vehicle registrations
- Provide general administrative support to the team
- Assist with events and community activities
- Build strong relationships with our market community
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Loves providing excellent customer service
- Enjoys meeting and helping people
- Has great communication and interpersonal skills
- Is organised, adaptable and resilient
- Has some administration experience (1-2 years preferred)
- Is comfortable using technology and CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a bonus)
- Has basic financial administration or reconciliation experience (desirable)
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
