MIA is seeking a Receptionist to join our team at the Poche Centre in Wollstonecraft.
As the first point of contact for patients, visitors and clinicians, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the reception desk and ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for all visitors to MIA. The role also provides administrative support to the Psychology team, including coordinating patient appointments and scheduling. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) position working Wednesday to Friday, on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff
- Manage incoming calls, emails and reception enquiries
- Support patient referrals and appointment coordination
- Provide administrative support to the Psychology team, including scheduling and patient communications
- Assist with general office administration and day-to-day operations
- Maintain accurate records and administrative systems
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have:
- Previous experience in a reception, administration or customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative systems
- A professional and compassionate approach when dealing with patients and visitors
