Summary:

The Parts Coordinator plays a crucial role in the automotive industry by ensuring the efficient management and distribution of parts within our operations. Based in Eagle Farm, Queensland, this permanent full-time position is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our service teams, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This role is essential to ensuring smooth workshop operations through efficient parts management and strong supplier coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the inventory of automotive parts, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to order parts and materials as required, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Assist in the preparation of parts for distribution to service teams and customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels using inventory management software.
  • Collaborate with the service department to identify parts needs and ensure availability.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parts orders.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in automotive technology or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in parts coordination or inventory management, preferably within the automotive industry.
