About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Project Manager to join our growing team in Melbourne. This role is responsible for supporting and delivering commercial building and construction projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and operational teams to manage project lifecycles from planning through to execution and completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery within scope across commercial business initiatives
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Work with estimators and internal teams to ensure scope is clearly defined managed and executed
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder engagement and communication throughout all project phases
  • Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Solve problems and communicated proactively to stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, quality, and budget expectations
  • Prepare and present project reporting, updates, and performance metrics to leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes
  • Support operational and commercial objectives through effective project execution
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and company standards

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Project Manager role (5+ years) within a commercial, construction, services, infrastructure, or related business environment
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and technical drawings
  • Experience within the commercial construction industry essential
  • Strong project planning and coordination capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Previous experience in estimation or costing is highly regarded
  • General knowledge of sheet metal and/or fabrication is highly regarded
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Commercially aware with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project reporting
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) advantageous
  • White Card and Working at Heights certifications required
