The role
We have a wonderful opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Plaintiff team on a permanent full-time basis. As a national firm, we are open to this role being based in our Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne office.
You will be part of a dynamic and growing team, with direct Principal access and the opportunity to quickly develop your skills. This role also offers a genuine mentoring component, where you will play a key role in supporting, coaching and developing more junior members of the team, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Core duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Providing advice to clients on personal injury cases, including motor vehicle, public liability and medical negligence claims;
- Individual case management of plaintiff personal injury matters (as above);
- Regular communication with clients and other stakeholders; and
- Assisting in divisional marketing and business development activities.
About you
You will thrive in this role if you are self-motivated, have a high level of attention to detail, display initiative and possess strong time-management and multi-tasking skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5+ years’ post admission experience in a high-performing Plaintiff team working on a variety of complex matters
- Previous experience working on a variety of personal injuries cases (potentially including medical negligence claims and/or motor vehicle claims). Plaintiff experience will be highly regarded, although not essential;
- Ability to run files autonomously;
- Strong time management and organisational skills together with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities simultaneously;
- Prior experience with high value catastrophic claims is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication skills;
- Advanced problem solving skills and a pragmatic, commercial approach to work;
- A passion to develop and maintain meaningful client relationships.
