More about the role
As Technical Business Analyst, you’ll help shape the technology and business processes that support our nursing program. This is an opportunity to apply your business analysis expertise to technology that directly supports better outcomes for people affected by cancer. Working closely with our Nursing Program team you will listen to business needs, uncover opportunities for improvement and translate them into practical technology solutions. From enhancing Salesforce capabilities to improving reporting and data insights, or streamlining systems and processes, you’ll play an important role in delivering initiatives that make a real difference to the way our services are delivered.
This role is based in Sydney. We offer flexible hybrid working with a requirement to work from our North Sydney office around three days each week.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities to improve the way we work
- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements to support successful project delivery
- Enhance and optimise Salesforce functionality, integrations and reporting capabilities
- Analyse business processes and data to identify trends, improve performance and support informed decision-making
- Investigate business challenges, evaluate solution options and provide practical recommendations to business and technical teams
- Review and improve business processes to increase efficiency, consistency and user experience
- Facilitate and drive User Acceptance Testing as required
- Contribute to project planning, communication, stakeholder engagement and change activities to help new solutions be successfully adopted
What you’ll bring
You’re someone who’s naturally curious, enjoys understanding how people work and is motivated in finding practical solutions that make life easier for others. You build trusted relationships, ask
thoughtful questions and can translate complex ideas into clear, actionable outcomes. Ideally you will have:
- At least four years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong skills in gathering and documenting business requirements, business process analysis and project scoping
- Experience producing high-quality documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications and user stories
- Experience with process mapping, workflow optimisation and data analysis or modelling
- Experience with Salesforce, JIRA and Confluence or similar is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A logical, analytical mindset, with the confidence to influence decisions and support change
