About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced financial analyst or accountant to support our Nursing Program team to deliver on their financial forecasts and commitments. This role is a maximum-term contract (12 months), supporting us while our permanent team member is on Parental Leave.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with Nursing Program team to provide assurance around all Nursing Program revenue and costs
- Review all nurse compensation and benefit statements
- Provide accurate modelling around budgeting and forecasting on an annual and monthly basis
- Improve processes between Finance and Nursing Program team to ensure accurate and independent reporting
- Support government reporting for Nursing Program
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 5 years’ experience as a financial analyst or accountant
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance and Accounting and CPA or CA qualifications
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
- Proficient in MS Excel modelling
- Demonstrated analytical and financial problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with complexity at pace
