We are seeking an organised and proactive Aviation Training Coordinator to manage, administer, and continuously improve all company training programs across Engineering. This role plays a key part in supporting workforce capability, compliance, and operational readiness.
About the Role
As our Training Coordinator, you will:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate internal and external training programs for our engineering department.
- Maintain accurate training records in line with aviation regulations and company policies.
- Ensure new staff complete role-specific induction training.
- Track training validity, recurrent requirements, and issue timely reminders.
- Support audits and reporting for internal and external compliance reviews.
- Manage apprentice programs, including onboarding, individual training plans, and competency pathways.
- Collaborate with multiple departments, external training providers, and regulatory authorities to ensure high-quality training outcomes.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Experience coordinating training programs in a regulated industry (aviation, transport, mining, defence, etc.).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple streams of training concurrently.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Current driver’s licence.
Desirable:
- Aviation-related qualifications.
- Experience in aviation training coordination or exposure to regulated aviation operations.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and competency frameworks.
