About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced Operations Support Manager to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. This role is responsible for overseeing operational support services, including insurance coordination, travel and accommodation coordination, mobilisation support, reception and administration services.  You will ensure support functions are organised, efficient and aligned with operational needs. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage and coordinate insurance administration, claims coordination and supporting documentation including liaising with insurers, brokers and internal stakeholders. 
  • Lead the Travel, Administration and Reception teams, including rostering and workforce planning. 
  • Oversee the coordination of travel, crew house accommodation and mobilisation activities. 
  • Lead administration and reception services. 
  • Support workforce planning, operational readiness and business continuity activities. 
  • Drive process improvements across systems, procedures and support services. 
  • Monitor priorities, risks and service delivery across the support function. 
  • Review service provider contracts for the facilities 
  • Coordinate IT services  
  • Assist with Conference coordination  

About You 

You will be a proactive leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes and supporting operational success. 

You will have: 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading administration, travel, reception or operational support teams. 
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving operational improvements
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Experience with insurance administration, claims coordination or governance processes. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Desirable 

  • Aviation, logistics, emergency services, resources or similar operational industry experience. 
  • Experience in mobilisation, workforce planning, travel coordination, insurance administration or project coordination.
