About the role
MCA Engineering is seeking a qualified Fleet Coordinator to join the team based onsite in Orange for minimum 18 months, with workshop work in Parkes NSW as required. This role will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities across MCA’s fleet and mobile equipment. Working closely with site managers, you will schedule and coordinate servicing, repairs, inspections, and compliance activities while ensuring equipment remains available to support operational requirements.
You will act as the key link between site personnel, maintenance providers, and external
technicians, balancing maintenance schedules with project demands to minimise downtime and maximise fleet availability.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate fleet servicing, maintenance, and compliance activities.
- Maintain, service and repair underground diesel equipment and fleet assets.
- Work closely with site managers to schedule maintenance around operational requirements
- Coordinate external technicians and service providers to complete repairs and maintenance
works
- Carry out breakdown work, inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate fleet records and enter maintenance data into company systems.
- Diagnose faults efficiently and keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
What we’re looking for
- Experience as a fleet coordinator or similar.
- Minimum 2 years’ underground mining experience is essential.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Relevant trade qualification.
- Current White Card and current driver’s licence.
- Ability to pass a medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
