About the Role
MCA Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Division Manager to establish, lead and
grow our new Electrical Division. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a commercially minded electrical professional looking to build a division from the ground up. You’ll be overseeing electrical projects across underground and surface hardrock mining operations while driving business growth and maintaining exceptional safety, quality and client service standards.
Working closely with clients, site teams and senior management, you’ll be responsible for
business development, project delivery, workforce leadership and the ongoing growth and success of the Electrical Division.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Establish, lead and grow MCA Engineering’s Electrical Division
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across underground and surface hardrock mining construction projects
- Drive business development and build strong client relationships
- Manage project delivery to ensure safe, efficient and profitable outcomes
- Lead and develop a high performing electrical workforce including supervisors, tradespeople and project teams
- Manage budgets, financial performance and divisional growth
- Provide technical expertise to support MCA Engineering’s broader underground hardrock construction operations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience managing electrical projects or leading an electrical business unit or division
- Electrical trade qualification with relevant industry experience
- Proven leadership experience within hardrock mining, construction or industrial electrical environments
- Strong commercial and business development skills
- Demonstrated experience managing project delivery, budgets and client relationships
- Ability to build and grow a successful team and business division
