About the Role: MCA Engineering is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join the team based onsite in Orange for a minimum of 18 months, with workshop work in Parkes NSW as required.

This role will focus on the maintenance, servicing, repair, and fault finding of underground mining equipment and fleet assets. Working closely with site operations teams, you will help ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and available to support project requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain, service, and repair underground diesel equipment and fleet assets.
• Carry out breakdown repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on underground mining equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with site teams to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.

What we’re looking for:

• Trade qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ underground mining experience is essential.
• Experience working on underground mining equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Current White Card and current driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass a medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
