Concrete Formworkers – Relocate to Mt Isa

About the Role

MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Concrete formworkers to join our team for a 12–18 month surface project. In this role, you will construct and install formwork for concrete structures, assist with reinforcement and concrete pours, and ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and to specification. You will work safely as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes across mining and industrial sites.

Starting indicative pay rates (under Enterprise Agreement) from $50–$60 per hour, depending on skills, experience and qualifications.

About You

• Current driver’s licence with no restrictions
• Relevant qualifications and tickets
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in concrete formwork or a similar role
• Proven experience constructing, erecting and stripping concrete formwork
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Experience placing reinforcement and assisting with concrete pours
• Mining experience is advantageous
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A testing
• Additional tickets and experience that would be highly regarded include Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP, Rigging, Dogging, Franna Non Slew, HR Licence
