About the Opportunity

This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity with:

What You Will Do

You will play an essential role in preparing and handling biological materials to the highest quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting, cleaning, and packaging animal tissue and biological materials
  • Completing documentation with accuracy and care
  • Following established procedures to ensure hygiene, safety, and quality
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organised workspace
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily and weekly production targets
  • Reporting any issues or irregularities promptly

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for people who are reliable, motivated, and ready to contribute as part of a hardworking team.

You will ideally:

  • Be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
  • Be available to work a minimum of 4 days per week
  • Be able to start work at 5:00 am
  • Have your own reliable transport due to our site location
  • Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, standing, and repetitive tasks
  • Be comfortable working in a slaughterhouse/abattoir environment
  • Follow instructions carefully and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail
  • Work well as part of a team while taking ownership of your responsibilities
  • Show initiative and look for ways to improve how things are done
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues
  • Be willing to learn new skills and take on greater responsibility over time

Experience in manufacturing, food processing, warehousing, agriculture, labouring, or similar environments will be highly regarded.

Experience training, mentoring, supporting others, or demonstrating leadership through work, sport, volunteer, military, or community activities will also be viewed favourably.
