This role provides intensive case management support to men experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness within a crisis and transitional accommodation setting. Working from a client-centred and trauma-informed approach, you will engage with residents to assess their individual needs, develop tailored support plans, and assist them in achieving stability and independence.
You will support clients to access housing pathways, health and mental health services, income support, and other community resources, while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive
environment.
The successful candidate will build strong, professional relationships with clients, empowering them to set and work toward personal goals. You will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to coordinate care and advocate on behalf of clients, ensuring continuity of support.
Strong communication, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage complex and sometimes challenging situations with empathy, professionalism, and resilience.

About Us

About You
·Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience working within a case management framework.
·Certificate IV in Community Services or a related qualification, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
·Demonstrated knowledge of Strengths-Based Case Management and the ability to apply this approach in practice.
·Experience and understanding of the key issues impacting men experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including the complexity of concurrent needs.
·Broad knowledge and experience within the housing and homelessness sector.
·Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, along with sound IT and computer literacy.
·Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), workplace health and safety, and confidentiality requirements.
Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check.
You must also hold:
·A current driver’s licence, and
·A Working with Vulnerable People Card (ACT) and/or NSW Working with Children
Check (role dependant).
