The program operates as a step up/step down model within a case management framework, supporting young people to identify and work towards their recovery goals alongside their CAMHS clinician and broader support network, including family. STEPS provides services to young people across the ACT.

STEPS operates on a structured 24/7 roster and is currently seeking applicants for permanent part-time positions. A minimum of 10 hours per week is available, with applicants required to be flexible across all shift types:

This includes assisting residents to access community, social, and recreational activities; supporting self-care and domestic tasks; providing transport; and facilitating both group and individual skill development.
