Summary:
The Community Support Worker will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals within the community. This position requires a compassionate and empathetic individual who can effectively communicate and build relationships with diverse populations. The Community Support Worker will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the well-being and integration of individuals into the community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist older people and people with a disability living independently in the community with activities relating to personal wellbeing, household management, and lifestyle, including:
- personal hygiene, grooming and presentation
- general household, cleaning and environmental maintenance tasks
- activities of interest in the home and local community
- activities related to the maintenance or improvement of health and wellbeing
- other reasonable requests made by the Client

- 100 Points of ID – Passport, Driver’s License, Medicare etc
- Infection Control
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or Cert IV in Aged Care or Disability
- First Aid Certificate
- Proven experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, or other support needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in using technology and software for documentation and communication purposes.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
