Your Role

As an Office Operations Coordinator, you’ll be a key point of contact supporting the day-to-day operations of Marinus Link’s office environments, ensuring our people have the resources, facilities and support they need to work effectively. You’ll coordinate office operations, facilities, travel, onboarding activities, invoicing processes and workplace services while partnering with teams across the business to create a positive and efficient employee experience.

You’ll:

  • Manage daily office operations including facilities, supplies, equipment, mail, visitor experience and workplace requirements.
  • Support team member productivity through coordination of workplace resources, onboarding activities, office technology requirements and ways of working.
  • Coordinate travel bookings, expense processes, office-related invoicing and financial tracking to support effective business operations.
  • Act as the key contact for facilities management, vendors and service providers, coordinating maintenance, access requirements and workplace improvements.
  • Support office events, executive meetings, team functions and workplace initiatives that enhance connection and engagement across Marinus Link.
  • Occasionally travel to Melbourne and Traralgon offices.

You’ll Need

  • Experience within an executive administration, office management or business support environment.
  • Experience providing business support at an Office Manager, Executive Assistant or similar level, with strong organisational and administrative capability.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships, provide excellent customer service and support a range of internal teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to manage information, documentation and correspondence.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Experience working within a large-scale project or complex stakeholder environment will be highly regarded.
  • A high level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

The two-way energy highway will enable Tasmania and Victoria to share much more electricity, pairing Victoria’s wind and solar with Tasmania’s flexible hydropower system and geographically diverse wind. This is a powerful synergy that strengthens the grid for both states. Marinus Link’s fibre optic cables will improve digital connectivity between Tasmania and Victoria by 150 times. After years of planning and design, construction is on the horizon. Marinus Link is jointly owned by the Commonwealth of Australia, the State of Tasmania and the State of Victoria.
