Your Role
As a Compliance
Specialist, you’ll be the day-to-day contact within the Governance &
Compliance team for Marinus Link’s compliance function. This is an
opportunity to play a key role in strengthening Marinus Link’s compliance
capability, collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to embed a
proactive compliance culture and strengthen compliance practices in support of the
successful delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure project.
You’ll:
- Support
the implementation and ongoing improvement of MLPL’s compliance function,
ensuring compliance practices are practical, effective and aligned to
organisational needs.
- Administer
MLPL’s compliance management system and tools, ensuring they support effective
compliance risk management across the organisation.
- Partner
with internal stakeholders to identify, assess and manage compliance
obligations, providing guidance and support to strengthen compliance maturity.
- Develop
and deliver compliance awareness initiatives, including training and
communication activities that build organisational capability and promote a
proactive compliance culture.
- Prepare
compliance reporting and insights for key stakeholders, including the Executive
Leadership Team and Audit and Risk Committee, supporting informed
decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support
the identification of emerging risks, improvement opportunities and
enhancements to compliance processes.

You’ll
Need
- Relevant
tertiary qualifications in governance, risk, compliance, law, business or a
related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience in a GRC role.
- Demonstrated
experience supporting the development and implementation of compliance
frameworks, policies and processes.
- Understanding
of governance and compliance best practice principles, including compliance
management systems and supporting tools.
- Experience
working in a highly regulated environment with the ability to interpret
obligations and support effective compliance risk management.
- Strong
written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing
reports and materials for senior stakeholders.
- Strong
influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust,
collaborate effectively and influence outcomes at all levels.
- To
be a proactive professional who takes ownership, operates with autonomy and
demonstrates strong organisational and time management skills.
- A
continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify opportunities to
enhance processes and ways of working.
- A
high level of computer literacy, including experience using compliance, risk or
governance management systems and tools.
