About the Role
You will be working across our residential homes, currently located in Rural View, Blacks Beach, Andergrove, and Eimeo, with exciting opportunities to support new homes as MANAWISE continues to grow and expand.
As a Youth Worker, you’ll support young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. You’ll play a key role in helping them build resilience, develop life skills, and create brighter futures.
Key Responsibilities
Create a safe, supportive, and structured home environment Build strong, positive relationships with young people Support emotional, social, and life skill development Encourage healthy decision-making and wellbeing Collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans Complete daily documentation, case notes, and reportsEssential Requirements
Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related fieldCurrent, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class)Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, or similar (or working towards it)First Aid & CPR certificationAvailability for shift work (including sleepovers & weekends)Current Paid Blue CardNational Police Check (within 6 months)Ability to obtain LCS checkHope & Healing Module certificate (we can assist if needed)Why Join MANAWISE?
