About the Role

This is a hands-on generalist HR role where you’ll partner closely with leaders to deliver compliant, efficient, and people-focused HR support.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and acting as the first point of contact for HR queries
  • Supporting employee relations matters, including performance documentation, grievances, and investigations
  • Coordinating onboarding, orientation, and probation tracking
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring audit-ready documentation
  • Supporting WH&S administration, record keeping, and risk mitigation activities
  • Assisting with policy updates, procedures, and HR documentation
  • Coordinating training schedules and maintaining training compliance records
  • Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in a human resources role, preferably within the social care sector
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a HR Advisor or generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation (SCHADS desirable)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail & ability to multitask
  • Confident supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
