As we continue to grow, we are seeking an exceptional General Manager to join our executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation.

About the Role

The General Manager provides executive leadership across operations, practice, governance and administration while overseeing all therapeutic residential and care services. Reporting to the CEO, this role holds day‑to‑day responsibility for organisational performance and leads Area Managers and teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant, and values‑driven services.

This role is also responsible for service innovation, strategic growth, governance excellence, and deputising for the CEO as required.

Based at our Underwood office, you may also work across residential properties to support operational and service needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership across operations, practice and service delivery

• Lead managers and teams to deliver compliant, high‑quality care services

• Drive strategic planning, organisational performance and financial oversight

• Oversee governance, compliance, WHS and quality standards

• Champion values‑led, culturally safe and trauma‑informed practice

• Lead innovation, stakeholder engagement and act for the CEO as required

About You

You are an experienced executive leader who is:

• Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people

• Confident leading complex community or human services organisations

• Values‑driven, self‑aware, ethical and authentic in your leadership

• Strategically minded, adaptable, and comfortable with accountability

• Skilled in governance, compliance, systems and organisational leadership

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Leadership, Behavioural Science, Business, Social Work or Human Services)

• Experience in a similar executive or senior leadership role

• Demonstrated experience in trauma informed, community or human services settings

• Proven leadership in governance, compliance, quality frameworks and service delivery

Essential Requirements

• LCS check

• Current Open Driver’s Licence

• QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

• National Police Check

• Ability to travel intrastate to support operational needs
