We are looking for a motivated and organised Policy & Projects Officer to support governance, compliance, accreditation and project activities across our growing energy services business.
This role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to Australia’s clean energy transition. Working closely with the Policy & Projects Manager, you will support accreditation activities, contribute to industry consultations, maintain our ISO-certified systems and help ensure the business remains compliant and well positioned for growth.
The role will suit someone with experience in governance, compliance, quality systems, project coordination or regulatory programs, particularly within the energy, utilities, sustainability or renewable energy sectors. Experience with energy schemes, ISO management systems, government programs or business improvement initiatives will be highly regarded.
You will enjoy building relationships, improving processes and turning complex requirements into practical outcomes. In this role you will:
- Support policy research, submissions and consultation activities
- Monitor regulatory changes and identify key impacts and risks
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement, briefings and follow-ups
- Support delivery of projects including accreditations and improvements
- Track project progress, risks and key documentation
- Assist with implementation, guidance materials and basic training
- Maintain policies, procedures and compliance records
- Support ISO systems and audit readiness
- Contribute to process improvements and updated internal resources
What you will bring:
- At least 2 years’ experience in policy, project coordination, compliance or a related field
- Experience supporting projects, governance processes or regulatory/compliance activities
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to research, interpret and analyse information from multiple sources
- Foundational understanding of governance, compliance or ISO frameworks (desirable)
- Experience in energy, government or sustainability sectors will be highly regarded
