About us
Loop IQ is a purpose-built intelligence platform helping care organisations move beyond fragmented
spreadsheets and manual reporting — delivering the accuracy, auditability, and confidence that regulated environments demand. Alongside the platform sits our strategic consulting wing, guiding organisations through implementation and optimisation so the technology delivers from day one.
Why work at Loop IQ?
Build something that matters — We’re solving a real problem in a sector that affects millions of Australians. The work you do here has a direct line to better outcomes in aged care.
Grow with intention — We invest in our people through dedicated learning budgets, performance bonuses, and genuine wellbeing support — because great work starts with great people.
A culture worth showing up for — We’re a small, high-trust team that values different perspectives, moves fast, and communicates openly. There’s no politics here, just good people
doing meaningful work.
Rare access, real impact — We operate at the intersection of health data, government, and enterprise. The market access and relationships we’ve built are genuinely hard to find at
this stage of a company.
About the Role
We’re looking for a mid-level Product Analyst to join our team and take ownership of delivery management and product-support work across Engineering, Data, QA, and the customer-facing
team. You’ll be the person keeping sprints on track, tickets clean, PRDs sharp, and documentation reliable — the connective tissue that keeps a small, fast-moving team executing.
This is a 6-month contract role, open to Melbourne-based candidates only, with a minimum of two days per week in our Melbourne office. We’re happy to consider full-time or a 4-day (0.8
FTE) arrangement — whichever works better for the right person.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in clean tickets, clear specs and reliable follow-through,
communicates well across technical and non-technical stakeholders, and is comfortable escalating ambiguity rather than guessing at it.
A Day in the Life
Your work will span delivery management, product documentation, and cross-functional support. One day you might be running standups and cleaning up the backlog; the next, you’re drafting a PRD for a well-scoped feature, building a prototype for stakeholder review, or triaging customer support tickets. You’ll pull in vulnerability and patch remediation tickets each sprint, track regulatory bulletins that could affect the platform, and support Sales and Marketing with release notes and
demo scripts from established templates. Expect to work closely with Engineering, Data, QA, Customer Success, and product leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Own day-to-day delivery management: sprint tracking, standups, backlog hygiene, and chasing blockers so nothing falls through the cracks
- Write clear, developer-ready Jira tickets from specs and PRDs, following established conventions
- Support Engineering, Data, and QA — clarifying requirements, triaging bugs, drafting test cases, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Draft PRDs for well-scoped, non-ambiguous features using our standard template (novel or regulatory-sensitive scope is drafted with senior product oversight)
- Build prototypes using established design patterns and components for stakeholder review and usability testing
- Maintain documentation: internal wikis, glossary, process docs, and runbooks
- Support Sales and Marketing with drafting collateral — release notes, feature briefs, demo scripts — from established templates and messaging
- Track regulatory and compliance bulletins relevant to the platform (e.g. quality reporting, care minutes, financial reporting changes) and flag anything that needs senior review
- Every sprint, pull in vulnerability and patch remediation tickets due within that sprint (based on Loop IQ’s severity-driven SLA) and make sure they’re visible and prioritised in planning — flagging anything approaching its remediation deadline
- Support Customer Success with triaging and resolution of customer support tickets
- Support onboarding of new customers into the Loop IQ platform
Experience & Background
- 2 –5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst, ProductAnalyst, or similar delivery-support role, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Comfortable working in Jira/Confluence or equivalent tools
- Strong written communication — you can produce a clear spec or a clean piece of documentation without much back-and-forth
- Detail-oriented, and comfortable escalating ambiguity rather than guessing at it
- Basic financial/numerical literacy
Ways of Working
- Operates with a high degree of professional integrity, discretion, and accountability
- Strong ownership mindset — takes responsibility for delivery outcomes, not just tasks completed
- Comfortable in an Agile environment (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives)
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working across functional boundaries — with Engineering, Data, QA, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing
- Demonstrated AI literacy, including practical experience using AI tools responsibly in a professional context
Bonus Skills
- Exposure to healthcare, aged care, or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with the Australian aged care landscape (AN-ACC, Quality Indicator Program, Care Minutes) — full training provided if not already familiar
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, or AI-assisted prototyping using Claude)
- Basic familiarity with vulnerability management concepts (severity ratings, SLA-driven remediation tracking) — you’ll be
tracking these tickets, not fixing the vulnerabilities yourself
