What will you do? 

We are seeking a superstar barista who can hit the ground running and work alongside our Senior Barista at our in-house coffee cart.

Based at our office in Robina on the Gold Coast, this shift will be 7.00am – 11.30am, Monday to Friday.

• Complete daily opening procedures for the coffee cart, including equipment checks, machine warm up and ensure stock is prepped, organised and ready for service
• Manage the full coffee journey, from taking orders through to payment
• Operating the coffee cart independently whilst the senior barista is attending to café administration and stock control
• Deliver warm, professional customer service to our employees, our tenants, and customers in the building
• Prepare high-quality coffee in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the coffee machine, grinder and work area
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety guidelines

Who are you & what will you bring? 

• 1+ years of recent experience working as a professional Barista
• Stock ordering experience desirable
• You know how to make a great coffee and care about getting it right every time
• You are approachable, positive and enjoy brightening people’s day with great service
• You take the initiative and are self-motivated
• You are guest-oriented and can comfortably connect with people of all ages and life experiences
• You are well organised and take pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-run workspace
